The knowledge graph turns your folder into a map. Every file becomes a node, and the links between your notes become the edges.
Every file, not just notes
The graph includes all of it: markdown notes, PDFs, spreadsheets, code, images, and data. Because LocalBrain shows your whole project, the graph is a picture of your actual work, not only the parts you wrote in markdown.
Filter and read it
- Filter by type to focus on notes, or bring in the surrounding files.
- Staleness at a glance: nodes reflect freshness, so you can see what has gone quiet and may need a look.
- Hover or click a node to see its details, and open the file straight from the graph.
AI link suggestions
The sparse corners of the graph are where connections are missing. LocalBrain can suggest links between related notes, so the graph gets denser and more useful as you go, without manual cross-linking. See Autopilot for how automatic linking works.
Open it
Open the graph from the app toolbar. Exploring is read-only; any links it helps you add flow through the same journaled, reversible write path as everything else.
